Every artist here is already proven on our pages. So each activation is two things at once — a live moment at the summit, and the social reach that comes with it.

Why ADD · Why art

We don't just stage art. We engineer viral content.

ADD owns the audience: the largest art page on Instagram, ten years in the niche, and a data engine built on 10,000+ of our own videos and 9.5M comments. Every activation in this proposal is designed to become viral content, and we amplify it through our 80M-follower network before, during and after the summit.

In four editions, art has appeared at the summit only as a one-off merch moment, never a curated program. This proposal gives the 5th edition its first: living art, made in front of 30,000 people, built to be filmed.

The upside-down reveal

Boubou paints celebrity portraits upside-down, often blindfolded, then flips the canvas — a built-in shock and applause moment. A 10–15 minute show: a portrait of a leader or icon, painted live and revealed at the flip.

Portraits hammered into glass

Simon Berger shatters laminated glass with a hammer, and a photorealistic face emerges from the cracks. Performed live: strategic taps in front of the audience until the face appears — a national icon, a legendary creator, or the 1B emblem.

Live portraits of the most-followed people in the room

A live caricature/portrait of the most-followed people in the room, filmed for the reaction reveal — shock, then laughter. Placed in the speaker lounge or wherever the summit chooses; the portraits walk out the door and onto the subjects' own stories.

The summit, carved in sand

World-class sand sculptors carve summit icons live over the 3 days — Burj Khalifa, the summit logo, creator-culture icons. Live carving is a standing crowd magnet, and workshops let attendees join in.

Art everyone can join

Greg Goya's "Fast Art": simple interactive installations engineered for participation. For example a question wall — "What would you do with 1 billion followers?" — where handwritten answers accumulate into the artwork over the 3 days.

Zach King: the illusion booth

A Zach-King-inspired optical-illusion booth: attendees step into a forced-perspective set and shoot their own "how did they do that" videos. Works with or without Zach on site.

Rough concept — a bit outside pure art, but a cool idea we wanted to show.

The crowd paints the summit

A giant paint-by-numbers wall: attendees each fill numbered cells over the 3 days, and a collective "1 billion followers" artwork completes itself by the closing ceremony. No skill needed — proven format at F1 and Ed Sheeran's album launch.

The DIFC gate: one wall, two hidden paintings

Insane51's Double Exposure 3D: two complete artworks layered in red + cyan — the red lens reveals one image, the blue a completely different one. Attendees flip between them through branded 3D glasses or a filter built into the badge; film the wall and the hidden image appears on camera. The whole summit's visual identity could be themed around this art — attendee badges styled with the red/blue 3D-glasses look, or shifted toward summit green (to discuss with the artist).

200+ women weavers from Etzatlán, Mexico crochet monumental canopies from recycled-plastic raffia. Canopy shade covers across the summit's outdoor walkways in 1BFS brand colors — practical shade that IS the artwork, finished live on site by the weavers.
